My contracted role as the principal injector ‘Cosmetic Nurse Cassie’ has ended at Image by Laser Aspley.
As some may be aware, I undertook this 10-month contracted role at their Brisbane Northside Clinic late last year. My part was to introduce cosmetic injectables to their client base and also support the new clinic owners in navigating the world of injectables.
I was able to utilise my knowledge of the industry to assist the clinic in developing their cosmetic injectables knowledge and assisted in curating unique treatment packages to best suit their clientele. I performed some of the top cosmetic treatments most sought after at their clinic such as anti-wrinkle treatments, cheek filler treatments and my signature lip fillers treatment!
I thoroughly enjoyed working and collaborating with the wonderful Nurse Practitioner, Kelly Beasy of KB Aesthetix. A skilled injector and cosmetic trainer in her own right, Kelly lent her very educated hand to Image by Laser by coming onboard as the medical director and prescriber for myself during our contracted time. I was also thankful for the opportunity to strengthen my existing relationship with the supportive trainers at Merz Aesthetics and En Vogue, with ongoing interactions during onsite training and clinic product procurement. It was also a pleasure to speak with the business development team at Instant Scripts, who took the time to educate me on the new independent scripting system via remote telehealth consultations as the clinic moves forward.
One aspect I will miss greatly is the collaborative work environment. I met some amazing, talented girls – some of the best therapists in the world of IPL Brisbane! As Image by Laser Aspley is predominately a laser clinic, I took the opportunity to increase my own knowledge of all things laser! The lovely staff were able to explain all the ins and outs of laser tattoo removal via their Ruby laser tattoo removal system, the very important Zimmer cooling system to make the treatment more bearable, IPL Photo rejuvenation and Fractional Skin resurfacing. I was also able to increase my own product knowledge of the O Cosmedics range and the incredible depigmentation peel treatment, Cosmelan.
Lastly – I have to thank the incredible clients of Image by Laser Aspley! It was my absolute pleasure to meet and treat every one of you! I have truly enjoyed working with you all in developing treatment plans over my time and hope that I was able to create a little bit of joy for you after each of your treatments.
